February 27 – March 2, 2018
Hear the histories and the stories of our Pioneer Temples while traveling to attend these sacred places. We will attend the St. George, Manti, Logan, and Salt Lake temples. Plus we will attend the Brigham City, Provo City Center, and Cedar City temples. Along the way, also hear the histories and stories of the Kirtland and Nauvoo temples, plus the temple sites of Adam-ondi-Ahman and Far West.
|February 27: Our journey starts today. We will depart from the Courtyard Marriott in Sandy, UT. This afternoon, we will attend the St. George Temple, the oldest operating temple of this dispensation. Along the way, we will attend the newly dedicated Cedar City Temple. While traveling, we will hear the history and the stories of the St. George Temple and the Kirtland Temple.|
|February 28: Our morning will be spent visiting the historical sites of St. George which include Brigham Young’s home, the Pioneer Tabernacle, and Jacob Hamblin’s home. After lunch, we will travel to the Manti Temple. While traveling to Manti, we will learn the history and the stories of the Manti Temple, and the Nauvoo Temple.|
|March 1: Our day begins by attending the Provo City Center Temple, originally built in 1898 as a Tabernacle. We will also attend the Logan Temple today. While traveling, we will hear the history and the stories of these two temples, and the temple sites of Adam-ondi-Ahman and Far West.|
|March 2: Today we will attend the Brigham City Temple and the Salt Lake Temple. The history, details, and stories of the building of the Salt Lake Temple will be told while we travel. We will also spend a few hours at Temple Square visiting each of the historical sites before enjoying a catered dinner at the Lion House.|

Also hear the histories and stories of our other Pioneer Temples including the Kirtland Temple, the Nauvoo Temple, and the temple sites of Adam-ondi-Ahman and Far West. Tom’s unique focus on this temple tour is not to just teach the history, but to help you draw closer to the Savior by applying the lessons learned from these historical events to your own daily life. Tom has become a student of the information taught on this and other LDS Church history tours. He has been teaching the gospel to youth and adults continuously for the last 16 years by serving as a youth Sunday School teacher, an Elders Quorum presidency councilor, Ward Young Men’s Presidency councilor, Stake Young Men’s Presidency councilor, Gospel Doctrine teacher, Mission Prep class teacher, and counselor in the Bishopric. He is the author of Adam-ondi-Ahman: Sacred History. Promised Future. and is a frequent guest speaker at Learn Our Religion and Visual Church History Tours. Tom served his mission in Australia. He and his wife Lesa have five children and live in Lehi, UT.
Departure / Return: The tour will begin and end at the Courtyard Marriott in Sandy, UT. The price of the tour does not include the hotel stay on February 26 as this overnight stay is optional. The tour of the price does not include a hotel stay for the night of March 2 at the conclusion of the tour. Please contact us if you would like us to help coordinate these hotel stays for you.
Booking Requirements: A $50 initial payment, per person, is required to confirm your reservation. This $50 is applied to your total balance due. The final payment for the tour is due November 27, 2017. Your $50 payment can be paid when completing our online Registration Form. Please contact us if you would prefer to pay by check. A complete quote can be obtained by contacting us.
Terms and Conditions: All rates are per person and based on hotel room occupancy. Prices listed are cash/check prices. If you would like to make your final payment with a credit or debit card, please add 2.9% for the bank’s transaction fee.
Departure: The site of our departure and return will be announced two months prior to the tour but will be somewhere in south Salt Lake County or North Utah County.
